CircleBath offers wide range NHS services
20 September 2010
Access to state of the art facilities at Circle Bath hospital
have widened for NHS patients with an extension of the range of
surgical and treatment options available through the Choose &
Book system.
NHS patients across the region will now be presented with the
option of being treated at the newly opened hospital's ENT,
Gynaecology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Hand
Surgery and Vascular Clinics. The breadth of treatments
offered by the individual Clinics is also expected to grow in the
coming months.
"A patient's right to choose where they undertake treatment is
extremely important and there are many different factors to
consider including post-operative recovery time. CircleBath
is delighted to be working with the NHS to offer a comprehensive
range of services that meet the needs of the surrounding
communities," explained Circle Partner, Mark Aichroth.
He added: "All of our clinics are led by consultants who are
experts in their field and therefore we are able to offer every
patient the highest level of care coupled with an experience that
is uniquely tailored to their own requirements."
The private hospital, which is run as a partnership, has been
working closely with some local GPs to build a range of services
that will help to reduce patient waiting times and offer extended
choice to those requiring treatment for a wide range of health
issues.
CircleBath, which opened earlier this year, has four operating
theatres, 22 day case beds as well as 26 single rooms and 2 double
rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.
The Choose & Book system has proven to be a successful
method of managing NHS waiting lists as well as giving patients a
greater choice about where they are treated.
