15 February 2012
CircleReading invites you to their Recruitment evening on
Monday 5th March, 7 - 8.30pm, at the Reading Hilton Hotel.
Address:
Reading Hilton Hotel
Drake Way

CircleReading, the state of the art hospital due to open next to
the Madejski stadium, has begun a search for up to 200 staff to run
and co-own the service. It will be holding an open evening for
people interested in applying on Monday 5th March at 7pm in the
Hilton Hotel. Everyone who works at CircleReading will officially
be a partner. This partnership model has delivered high levels of
staff engagement in Circle's existing hospitals, with average staff
satisfaction of 90%.
The hospital group believes in putting the 'hospitality' back into
hospitals, and is eager to get the best people for
hospitality-based roles. A chef from a Michelin starred restaurant
has already been recruited to cook high quality, locally sourced
food for patients and visitors. They are also seeking to recruit
theatre, ward and technical staff such as nurses, radiographers and
physiotherapists, as well as a range of managerial and
administrative staff. The firm says it prizes talent and cultural
fit as much as experience, and is hoping to attract people both
from traditional healthcare and more diverse backgrounds by
providing flexible working conditions. First stage interviews will
take place in the week beginning 26 March, and candidates can apply
via the Circle website.
CircleReading is due to open in Autumn 2012, and will offer a wide
range of non-emergency tests and operations in luxury surroundings.
The design concept has been to create a 'healing environment', with
internal gardens, airy spaces and natural light. Private patients
can choose to be treated there through their medical insurers, or
by approaching the hospital directly. NHS patients all have a
choice where they receive their hospital treatment, and can ask
their GP to refer them to the new facility for free NHS treatments.
The hospital will include five state of the art digital operating
theatres, MRI and X-ray scanners, and 50 patient beds.
Circle Chief Executive, Ali Parsa, said: 'Ownership matters because
it gives clinicians and healthcare professionals the control to run
hospitals in the way they judge best for their patients. We want
the brightest and best from Reading and the surrounding areas to
join us as partners. Whether you have a background in healthcare or
not, if you're passionate about patient care, and eager to be at
the cutting-edge of an industry that matters to us all, come and
meet us on Monday 5th March to find out more'.
