Mrs Qureshi is a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in the speciality. She graduated from King Edwards University of Medical Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, before undertaking specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Oxford Deanery. She is a Consultant at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and the lead for several areas in her specialism including Menopause, Fibroids and Incontinence.
Mrs Qureshi believes in 'women centred quality of life' which is very evident when she is sat with her patients discussing their conditions. She provides clear and concise information, striving always to put the woman at the heart of all treatments. "Listening and discussing options of management which are evidence based is the key. I have, despite my seniority in the field, always kept up to date with training and new better emerging treatment options. This enables me to provide current and state of art treatment to my patients."
Her areas of interest include the pelvic floor including a prolapse, pelvic and gynaecological pain. She advises on management of menopause and menstrual disorders.
Mrs Qureshi is happily married with 3 children and grandchildren. Her husband is also a doctor. She loves antique furniture, cooking for friends and family, and travelling to discover the cultures of the world.
