Professional profile
Mr Hughes is a CircleBath Consultant in Oral and
Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Surgery and he also carries out NHS
work at University Hospitals Bristol. He regularly undertakes
various Oral and Maxillofacial surgical procedures, ranging from
minor oral surgery to major surgery and reconstruction for head and
neck cancer.
He has undergraduate degrees in both Dentistry and Medicine and
completed his training the SW of England where he attained the
British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Gold
Medal.
Following this Mr Hughes undertook a one year fellowship in Head
and Neck Cancer at the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute.
He is also currently a Lead Clinician for Head and Neck Cancer
at University Hospitals, Bristol and is involved in undergraduate
teaching to both medical and dental students at Bristol
University.
Mr Hughes prides himself on providing a Consultant Lead, high
quality service both in the NHS and private sector.
