Dr I.R. Le Jeune B.M. B.Ch., B.A.(Hons, Oxon), M.R.C.P.,
PhD.
Ivan undertook both pre-clinical and clinical training at Oxford
University graduating in 1996 after an intercalated B.A.
Following house officer posts in Bath and Oxford he moved up to
Nottingham for his specialist training in Respiratory and General
Medicine. During this time he completed a 3 year period of
respiratory research culminating in a PhD from Nottingham
University. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician at the
Queen's Medical Centre in 2006 specialising in Respiratory and
Acute Medicine.
Ivan has experience running general respiratory clinics with a
wide range of presentations from chronic cough to unexplained
breathlessness. He has particular interests in pulmonary
emboli, interstitial lung diseases and lower respiratory tract
infections.
He sees and treats both NHS and private patients at the
Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre.
Personal profile
Ivan married to Louise, a local GP in 2000 and they have three
boys: Oscar, and twins Archie and Theo
