Doctor Judy Evans was educated at Oxford University and Charing Cross Medical School London. She was appointed as lecturer in Surgery at the University of Hong Kong after finishing her house jobs. She returned to England in 1980 and started training as a plastic surgeon at that time.

Judy worked in Norwich and Leicester before moving with her husband to Plymouth in 1986.

She completed her training in 1990, and was the first woman ever to gain the F.R.C.S.(Plast). At that time she was awarded a BAPS scholarship to study at the Sydney Melanoma Clinic, and commenced her NHS Consultant practice later the same year.

Dr. Judy Evans has been in full time private practice since 2000 and has worked in Plymouth, Torquay, London and Bath since that time.

Dr. Evans has retained an active interest in Education and is an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). She is also on the Council of the College.

She previously served on the council of BAPS and BAAPS. She remains a keen teacher and trainer in aesthetic surgery.

Judy Evans' interests are in skin cancer, breast surgery and general aesthetic surgery including abdominoplasties and facial ageing surgery. She has regular clinics at CircleBath Hospital and is flexible with regards to her operating times, to suit patient's own timetables wherever possible.

Personal profile

Judy Evans also works with a charity in Thailand helping hill tribe people, and the sufferers from Cyclone Nargis in Burma.
