Professional profile
Mr Jayaprakasan was appointed as Clinical Associate Professor
and Consultant Gynaecologist in 2010. He is subspeciality
trained in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He is also a
Consultant at NURTURE where he did his PhD in 'Assessment of
ovarian reserve using ultrasound and hormonal markers and
prediction of IVF treatment outcome.' He is an active
clinician and researcher in the field of fertility and pelvic
ultrasound and has widely published in these areas.
Mr Jayaprakasan sees both NHS and private patients at the
Treatment Centre.

- Assessment of ovarian reserve and ageing
- Interventions to improve fertility in couples seeking fertility
treatment. Currently setting up a trial of different
stimulation regimens and adjuvant treatments such as DHEA for IVF
treatment
- Application of advanced ultrasound in gynaecology and fertility
problems
