Mrs Kate Charlesworth

Physiotherapy

Professional profile

Kate has now worked as a specialist in women's health and continence for over ten years and has attended various post-graduate training courses.

Kate trained in Bristol as a physiotherapist and worked in the outpatients department on the wards of the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, Bath. She then worked on the wards and developed a community physiotherapy service as Frome Victoria Hospital.

Kate took a career break to have a family and returned to work as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in Frome where she took up training in the speciality of women's health and continence.

Her treatments are centred on a holistic view of women's health and continence. People's general health, stress management, dietary and fluid intake and their physical wellbeing are all looked at when forming a treatment plan for the individual.

Kate continues to enjoy the variety that her area of work offers, and the satisfaction of seeing men and women regain their dignity and health.
