Dr Varma is Consultant Dermatologist and a Dermatological
Surgeon who treats both NHS and private patients at the Nottingham
NHS Treatment Centre. She specialises in cutaneous skin
surgery including MOHS Micrographic Surgery having completed one
year dermato-surgical fellowship at Queens Medical Centre,
Nottingham. Subsequently she continued working at the same
centre as a Consultant Dermatological Surgeon. Her expertise
is in the area of detection and treatment of skin cancer and she
can also perform specialise surgical procedures such as creating
skin flaps, split and full thickness skin grafts for closure of
large wounds. She undertakes laser treatment for vascular
birthmarks, vascular component of rosacea and hair removal.
She also works at City Hospital, Birmingham in the same capacity as
a Consultant Dermatological Surgeon.
