Dr Coupe is a Consultant Anaesthetist with advanced training in
pain management and intensive care medicine. Since 2005 he has been
practising at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
As a member of Bath Pain Management, Dr Coupe and his colleagues
provide a comprehensive range of interventional and
non-interventional pain services. He has a special interest in the
use of regional anaesthesia and has wide experience in the
provision of anaesthesia services across all clinical
specialities.
Dr Coupe has also written extensively on the use of opioids in
chronic non-cancer pain and currently acts as honorary
clinical lecturer at the University of Bristol.
Personal profile
Dr Coupe lives in Bath with his wife and children. He spends
most of his spare time with his family but also enjoys cycling and
paragliding over the English countryside (when time and weather
allow!)
