Professional profile
Mr Rigby is an Orthopaedic Consultant who specialises in hip
surgery at CircleBath.
His is also currently an Orthopaedic Consultant at The Great
Western Hospital in Swindon, specialising in hip surgery. He has a
particular interest in young patients and sports injuries.
After qualifying from the Royal Free Hospital School of
Medicine, Mr Rigby completed his basic surgical training at
University College Hospital in London. His specialist training was
in the Wessex region.
He later received fellowship in the Princess Elizabeth
Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter where he spent a year working in the
world renowned hip unit.
Mr Rigby offers treatment for femeroacetabular impingement and
labral tears which includes arthroscopic and open types of surgery.
He also performs primary and complex primary hip replacements, as
well as revision surgery.
