Mr Robinson has been a Consultant General and Colorectal
("Bowel") Surgeon in Nottingham since 1997. He was initially
based at City Hospital, Nottingham but moved to Queens Medical
Centre in 2001. He sees and treats both NHS and private
patients at the Treatment Centre.
He graduated from Cambridge University and Oxford Medical School
and undertook surgical training mainly in Oxford and
Nottingham. He passed out top in the country in two of the
three FRCS (surgical qualifying) examinations. He is a fellow
of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the
speciality association, The Association of Coloproctology of Great
Britain and Ireland.

Special clinical interests
Mr Robinson's main specialty is Colorectal ("Bowel") Surgery and
he is fully qualified to deal with all aspects of the assessment,
diagnosis and treatment of all colorectal diseases, including bowel
cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. He is also interested
in same day ("daycase") surgery for common bottom end conditions -
haemorrhoids ("piles"), fissures and anal fistulae.
Research interests
Mr Robinson is an author of more than 40 scientific
publications, mainly in the area of Screening for Bowel Cancer.
