Professional profile
Dr Page graduated from Bristol University Medical School with
Honours in 1982 and he was jointly awarded the Bristol University
Gold Medal for his undergraduate performance. His early
training was completed in Bristol (Southmead Hospital), and Taunton
(Musgrove Park Hospital) in Somerset . He successfully passed the
MRCP examination in 1985 and awarded FRCP by the Royal College of
Physicians in 1991.
His higher degree was obtained during a period of research at St
George's Hospital in London. His final Senior Registrar
training was completed in Nottingham and Derby. He took up a
Consultant post in 1995 at Nottingham University Hospitals.
Currently he is the Clinical Lead for the Nottingham Endocrine
service at the Nottingham Treatment Centre and the Regional
Specialty Advisor for the RCP in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Dr Page sees and treats NHS patients at the Treatment
Centre.
