Professional profile
Dr Wharton trained at Guys Hospital in London followed by
experience as a junior doctor in London, Brighton, Derby and
Sheffield. He became a Respiratory Physician in 1995 and was
appointed Consultant in Nottingham in 2000 where he ran the Medical
High Dependency Unit until 2010. Since then he has
concentrated on developing the Sleep Medicine service at Queens
Medical Centre.
Dr Wharton sees and treats both NHS and private patients at the
Treatment Centre.
