Dr Simpson is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care
Medicine.
He was appointed as a consultant at the Royal United Hospital
NHS Trust, Bath, in 2001 having completed 10 years of training in
London, the South west and Perth (Australia).
Dr Simpson is heavily involved in the selection and training of
the next generation of Anaesthetists via his role as a local
representative for the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the
training programme co-ordinator for 65 junior doctors appointed in
the Bristol region.
Personal profile
Dr Simpson is married with two children and an enthusiastic (but
pretty amateur) sportsman. Despite this he has recently taken up
Triathlon.
