Dr Simpson is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.

Dr Simpson is heavily involved in the selection and training of the next generation of Anaesthetists via his role as a local representative for the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the training programme co-ordinator for 65 junior doctors appointed in the Bristol region.

Dr Simpson is married with two children and an enthusiastic (but pretty amateur) sportsman. Despite this he has recently taken up Triathlon.
