Do you undertake other Patient Experience Surveys?
Endocrinology Patient Experience Survey -
Background
At the Nottingham NHS Treatment
Centre, we collect feedback from patients using a variety of
methods. Rapid response feedback cards provide us with our
patients' experience of their visit and enables them to suggest
ways in which they feel our service could be improved.
We also want to know about how well
our staff communicate with our patients and whether they are given
the right amount of information in deciding upon their own
treatment plan.
Dr Simon Page, Consultant
Endocrinologist, developed a questionnaire for use within his
specialty of Endocrinology to do this. This questionnaire was
piloted during Winter 2010/11 and provided us with some very useful
information.
A summary of the questionnaire content
and results can be found here.
Dr Page presented his findings to his fellow consultants and since
then, the questionnaire is being rolled out across the Treatment
Centre.
