Fujairah Shooting Club Announces Key Dates, New Side Events, and Website Launch for 2025 Event
Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2023, the Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship (FMSC) is set to return for its second edition in February 2025. The event is organised by the Fujairah Shooting Club and held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. The organisers have confirmed the launch of the official championship website, giving participants and fans a comprehensive platform for updates and information.
Event Schedule and Championship Format
The 2025 edition of the Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship will take place from February 1 to 8 in Dibba, Fujairah, UAE. The event will showcase challenging shooting layouts, engaging side events, and offer participants the chance to immerse themselves in the breathtaking natural surroundings of the Emirate.
The primary competition, scheduled for February 5 to 8, 2025, will focus on Super Sporting with 240 clay targets. Competitors will vie for a generous prize fund of USD 300,000, along with an extra USD 50,000 set aside for the 100 flash clays challenge. The competition will take place over four days, providing an intense and rewarding experience for participants and spectators alike.
Preliminary Competitions and Prizes
The preliminary rounds of the championship will be held from February 1 to 4, 2025, offering an exciting prelude to the main event. These rounds will feature English Sporting with 50 clay targets and a total prize pool of USD 40,000 spread across four categories. The championship will kick off with an opening ceremony on February 4, and the event will culminate with the grand awards ceremony on February 8.
Competition Setup and Format
The main event will feature 24 shooting stands, each outfitted with six machines to present a variety of singles and doubles targets. Over the course of the four-day event, participants will aim at a total of 240 targets, with 60 targets set per day. Competitors will be grouped into squads of six to take on these exciting challenges, creating a dynamic and competitive environment.

Among the ambassadors is George Digweed MBE, a celebrated English sport shooter and multiple-time world and European clay-shooting champion. He will be joined by Phil Gray and Saif Bin Futtais, an Emirati sport shooter and five-time Olympian, both of whom will lend their expertise and support to the event.
